Welcome to Laurel Court Care Home, our modern purpose built Home where we provide an excellent standard of care 24 hours a day in a home from home setting. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist Nursing support to general assistance with everyday living.

We offer Residential and Nursing care as well as Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

We are very proud of our homely and welcoming atmosphere. We would be delighted to show you around so that you can experience it for yourself. There is so much more that we can tell you than we can include on these pages so please arrange to pop in for a chat. 

Relaxing Areas

Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges situated throughout the Home. We also have a mature garden complete with flower beds and a patio area where Residents enjoy the fresh air. These areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

Activities

Our Residents get very involved in planning our programme of events along with our Activities Co-ordinator. These include gardening, cream tea afternoons, quizzes and musical events. We also have our very own Residents’ choir and drama group, which we are very proud of. Each summer we hold a fete at which many of our Residents bake and sell cakes, attracting numerous visitors from the local community who are always welcome. We also hold a Christmas bazaar each year.

We use our mini bus for outings to local attractions including Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm on the outskirts of Bristol and Clevedon Pier and Heritage Trust, or even just for lunch out at the local pub.

Food & Drink

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Each one of our dining areas has tables laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

We have themed meals including food and wine from around the world. We also enjoy catering for special celebrations for our Residents such as birthdays and anniversaries.
