Welcome to Larkland House Care Home, our idyllically situated Home in Ascot – the heart of leafy Berkshire, where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist Nursing support to general assistance with everyday living. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.

We offer Nursing care as well as Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

All of our rooms offer en-suite facilities and have tasteful decor to create a comfortable and homely environment.

Relaxing Areas

Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges. They watch television or perhaps listen to music or have some reading time. They also enjoy our landscaped garden and patio. All of these areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

Activities

Our Residents get very involved in planning our programme of events along with our Activities Co-ordinator. These include arts and crafts, baking and gentle gardening as well as quizzes and musical events. We encourage a mix of individual and group activities. We use our minibus for outings to local attractions and host several seasonal events including carol services at Christmas, fireworks displays on Bonfire night and Summer BBQs. We also provide a regular church service and all of these events are open to any of our Residents and their families and friends who wish to attend.

Food & Drink

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Each one of our dining areas has tables laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

We have themed meals including food and wine from around the world. We also enjoy catering for special celebrations for our Residents such as birthdays and anniversaries.

Residents can choose to have their meals in their own room or in our dining room depending on how they feel. We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea anytime
