Welcome to our Home
Welcome to Seale Pastures House Care Home, our charming period Home situated in rural South Derbyshire where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist support and help with everyday living to those who just need a helping hand to retain some independence. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.
The main part of the Home was built in 1754, since which it has been extended and renovated. We offer Residential care as well as Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.
Most of our private bedrooms have en-suite facilities and all are decorated to a high standard.
Relaxing Areas
Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges situated throughout the Home. Our mature gardens boast flower beds and a patio area where Residents can enjoy refreshments and the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. These areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.
Activities
Our Residents get very involved in planning our programme of events along with our Activities Co-ordinator. These include arts and crafts, dominoes and gentle gardening as well as quizzes and musical events. We encourage a mix of individual and group activities. We also host regular seasonal events such as our Summer Fayre and we invite professional entertainers to visit regularly. We use our minibus for outings to local attractions including the theatre and trips to the local canal.
Food & Drink
We have highly nutritious and varied menus and cater for all dietary and cultural needs. All of our food is prepared using fresh ingredients every day in our kitchens. Our dining rooms are warm and welcoming with views over the gardens. The tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen and our daily menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.
Residents can choose to have their meals in their own room or in our dining room depending on how they feel. We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea anytime.
Our Sunday lunch is particularly popular with Residents and their families. |
