The Manor House Care Home is a modern purpose built Home where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist support and help with everyday living to those who just need a helping hand to retain some independence.

We offer Nursing care as well as specialist care for those with Dementia. All of our private bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are decorated to a high standard.

We are very proud of our homely and welcoming atmosphere. We would be delighted to show you around so that you can experience it for yourself.

The Manor is set alongside the banks of the River Thames in a secluded area of Old Windsor. The Home enjoys a prime location with pleasant riverside views. Although it is still within close proximity of London and with easy access to the M4 and M25, the picturesque surroundings create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

The Manor Care Centre provides caring services for older adults with confusion or dementia and physical frailty.  The care home also provides residential care for those who are physically less able.

We offer:

• 60 private en-suite bedrooms

• 7 day lounges and 3 dining suites

• Extensive landscaped gardens and patio area

 • Lift 

Relaxing Areas

Set in beautiful countryside grounds and surrounded by landscaped gardens, our Residents can spend time outside in the fresh air. Individuals also enjoy the tranquillity of our library. All of these areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

Activities

Our Residents get very involved in planning our programme of events along with our Activities Co-ordinator. These include arts and crafts, baking, gentle gardening, there are raised beds in the garden, and exercise as well as quizzes and live entertainment. We use our minibus for outings to local attractions such as Royal Ascot, the Magna Carter Tea Gardens, lunch at the Harvester restaurant, and day trips to Windsor.

Hairdressing and beauty treatments are available within our Home, we support the UK National Dementia Strategy which ensures that key life skills are maintained, building purpose and providing nurture for Residents with Dementia. We organise group and individual activities but in our experience it is the one-to-one sessions that our Residents find most calming and rewarding.

Food & Drink

We have highly nutritious and varied menus and cater for all dietary and cultural needs. All of our food is prepared using fresh ingredients every day in our kitchens. Our dining rooms are warm and welcoming. The tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

Residents can choose to have their meals in their own room or in our dining room depending on how they feel. We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea anytime.
