Croxley House, which dates back to 1770, offers comfortable, secure accommodation in the most delightful and well maintained grounds (with two aviaries - wild pheasants are often to be seen too, bowls and croquet lawn, paved and hand-railed walks, summer house and pond). The home overlooks the village green in one direction and grazed fields (usually occupied by horses) in the other. It is the centre of the local community with an unmatched social life, with concerts, fairs, teas and other events and outings throughout the year. Indoors there is an absorbing variety of activities on offer too.
Croxley House offers excellent standards of care - a qualified and experienced senior staff team provide 24 hour management cover for the Home, and they are ably supported by trained Care Assistants, catering and domestic staff. There are also regular visits by a hairdresser and chiropodist.
The accommodation is excellent and there are 33 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Each room is fully furnished to a high standard; they are also equipped with a call bell system, T.V. point, easily accessible light switches and plug sockets. In addition, there are a number of assisted bathrooms/shower rooms. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture.
